Equipping Educators to Engage Every Learner

Creating a world where every learner thrives

What we do

At the Engaging Every Learner Foundation, we provide educators with the tools, strategies, and support needed to foster deep student engagement in today’s classrooms. Through our professional learning experiences and personal coaching sessions, we help teachers, coaches, and school leaders implement evidence-based practices that make learning accessible, meaningful, and inspiring for every student.
We Innovate

Through research-backed frameworks like Universal Design for Learning (UDL), we transform classrooms into spaces where every learner thrives.

We Equip

We design cutting-edge professional learning to equip educators with the tools to engage students, regardless of background, circumstance, or ability.

We Partner

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we partner with organizations to support needs-based initiatives, because financial barriers shouldn’t limit access to great teaching.

We Coach

Beyond training, we offer personalized coaching to help educators turn theory into practice—because lasting change takes support.

Activating the Full Potential of Universal Design for Learning 3.0

This interactive session explores, models, and guides how to apply the UDL 3.0 updates to ensure access to inclusive instruction that fully honors variability, removes barriers, challenges exclusionary practices, and facilitates multi-tiered systems of support. Identify next steps for co-designing learning spaces that support student agency and value collective learning. Take away resources to assist immediately putting these insights into action.

5 Research-based Leadership Practices for Cultivating Educator Joy

Many school improvement initiatives whither and stall due to leaders’ lack of attention to the role of educator joy in professional learning and ensuring inclusive instruction. Joy in learning is a “must have” not a “nice to have” in order to sustain longterm change and improvement. This session explores the practical application of 5 research-based leadership strategies for incorporating joy in adult learning and school improvement. Gain ideas and resources for inspiring action, fostering educators’ sense of self-efficacy, and maintaining momentum for implementing effective multi-tiered systems of support.

Day 3 Innovation Lab

Elevating Student Voice to Strengthen Inclusive Practices & MTSS

As educators planning school improvement initiatives and designing professional learning opportunities, how are we considering and learning from students who are most likely to be marginalized by inflexible instructional practices, systems, and structures? Putting into practice this quote by Ivory Toldson, “People should be used to understand data, not data used to understand people,” this innovative lab focuses on a step-by-step process for examining data and creating space for student perspectives, especially students with disabilities, students of color, and multilingual learners. Learn how to turn shared insights into actionable professional learning opportunities informed by the UDL 3.0 Guidelines. Develop and take away an action plan to learn from and honor the perspectives of students most likely to experience learning from the margins.
